On or about Thursday, October 28th, 2021, around 5:20 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer, and SUV and two cars claimed the life of a 56-year-old Brunswick man. Troopers from the GSP said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 95 in Glynn County, Georgia.
Authorities from the Georgia State Patrol said an as-of-yet unidentified 56-year-old man was killed when his vehicle was hit by a tractor-trailer after it had come to a rest on I-95 after a previous accident. Police believe the victim’s car had pulled off to the shoulder with a flat tire when it was hit by a Tesla passenger vehicle, pushing it into the roadway where it came to a stop before it was hit by a tractor-trailer. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the car dead of his injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 95 runs north and south through Glynn County, which is about 264 miles southeast of downtown Atlanta.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene of the accident.
