Details:
On or about Friday, March 4th, 2022, around 10:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a stalled vehicle sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the LSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 spanning Whiskey Bay just outside Ramah, Louisiana.
Representatives from the Louisiana State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck a stalled vehicle on the side of Interstate 10. After the initial collision, somebody in the vehicle or somebody standing nearby was thrown over the side of the bridge by the force of the impact. Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Ramah, which is seated between Baton Rouge and Lafayette along I-10.
