On or about Wednesday, January 13th, 2021, around 7:00 in the morning, an accident between a car and an 18-wheeler left at least one person dead. Troopers from the LSP said the accident happened along Interstate 10 just outside Rayne, Louisiana.
Investigators said at least one person died when an 18-wheeler and a car collided under unknown circumstances while driving on Interstate 10. Paramedics pronounced one person dead of their injuries after the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries in their preliminary report.
