Details:
On or about Thursday, July 1st, 2021, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 28-year-old man. Deputies from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 11 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Troopers from the Nevada State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when the Chevrolet sedan they were driving allegedly slammed into the back of a flatbed truck that was stopped on the shoulder of Interstate 11. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the car dead a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 11 runs north and south through Las Vegas, with the scene of the accident situated a short distance south of downtown.
Several agencies are investigating the incident.
