On or about Thursday, April 15th, 2021, around 9:05 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck left one individual dead. Troopers from the CHP said the accident happened on the southbound side of Interstate 15 in Bonsall, California.
Officers said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when a pickup truck allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer. Video from the scene shows the tractor-trailer on the shoulder of the roadway, but it is not clear it was at the time of the collision. One person was pronounced dead from major trauma injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 15 runs north and south along the eastern edge of Bonsall, which is about 46 miles north of San Diego.
