On or about Tuesday, April 5th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a tractor-trailer fire left one individual dad. Officials from the ASP said the accident was reported along the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Local law enforcement representatives said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the tractor-trailer they were driving allegedly burst into flames while driving down I-20. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead a short time after the accident, Officials did not specify if the trucks cargo or the truck itself caught fire.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 20 winds east and west into Birmingham.
Police are still investigating the cause of the fire.
