On or about Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, around 3:45 in the afternoon, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and an 18-wheeler left one individual dead. Representatives from the DPS said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 20 near Farm-to-Market 829 in Martin County, Texas.
Police officers from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer and a semi truck collided under unspecified circumstances on eastbound I-20. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead of their injuries after the accident, but officials did not indicate which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the collision. Authorities did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 20 cuts east and west through the southern edge of Martin County, which is located about 102 miles south of Lubbock.
