Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021, around 11:35 at night, an accident between a car and a disabled 18-wheeler left a woman dead. Officers from the DPD said the accident happened on the northbound side of Interstate 25 near the exchange with Interstate 225 in Denver, Colorado.
Officials said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed when her Honda Accord allegedly struck a tractor-trailer that was disabled in the third lane. Paramedics pronounced the woman in the Accord dead of her injuries at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unhurt in the incident.
Denver Police closed all the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 in order to tend to the scene.
Multiple agencies are assisting in the investigation.
