Details:
On or about Monday, November 16th, 2020, an accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer left one man dead. Colorado State Patrol said the accident happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 near Pueblo, Colorado.
Authorities indicated one as-of-yet unidentified man was killed when he was allegedly hit by an 18-wheeler when he got out of his car following a previous accident. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. No other injuries were reported by police.
Google Streetview shows Interstate 25 is four lanes, with a wide, grassy median dividing north and southbound traffic. Pueblo is located about 43 miles south of Colorado Springs.
Police are still examining the cause of the accident.
