Details:
On or about Monday, June 13th, 2022, around 8:52 in the morning, a serious tractor-trailer accident left one individual dead. Spokespeople from the ISP said the accident was reported along Interstate 290 in Chicago, Illinois.
Authorities from the Illinois State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the commercial van they were in allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer on the shoulder of Interstate 290. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the van dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Harlem Avenue.
Police are still investigating.
