Details:
On or about Friday, October 29th, 2021, around 3:00 in the morning, an accident between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Department of Public Safety Troopers said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 30 near Akard Street in Dallas, Texas.
Deputies from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when the motorcycle they were driving and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances while driving westbound on I-30. Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the incident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 30 and Akard Street is situated a short distance north of downtown Dallas.
Police are still investigating.
