Details:
On or about Thursday, February 10th, 2022, around 5:15 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Law enforcement officials said the accident was reported along Interstate 30 near the exchange with Edgefield Avenue in Dallas, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when he was allegedly struck by a passing tractor-trailer as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of I-30. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of his injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 30 and Edgefield Avenue is on the west side of Dallas.
Authorities are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
