On or about Monday, September 13th, 2021, around 8:45 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left one person dead. Deputies from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 30 in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Officials said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when their car allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer in the eastbound lanes of I-30. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the car dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries or vehicles in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 30 runs east and west through Grand Prairie, which is about 13 miles west of downtown Dallas.
