On or about Wednesday, March 9th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, an accident between a tractor-trailer and another 18-wheeler left one person dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 30 just outside Weaver in Hopkins County, Texas.
Authorities from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly rolled into oncoming traffic and collided with another 18-wheeler on I-30. Paramedics pronounced one of the truck drivers dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 7 miles east of Sulphur Springs.
