Details:
On or about Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, around 1:20 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 35 near U.S. Highway 183 in Austin, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of I-35. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead a short time after they responded to the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the south side of Austin.
