On or about Thursday, July 7th, 2022, around 1:30 in the afternoon, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Spokespeople from the KSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 in Johnson County, Kansas.
Representatives from the Kansas State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in and a tractor-trailer collided when the car allegedly sustained a tire blowout along I-35. Emergency responders pronounced one person in the car dead of their injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Gardner.
