Details:
On or about Monday, August 30th, 2021, around 3:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a 41-year-old man dead. Authorities said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 35E in Dallas, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified 41-year-old man was killed when he was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer as he was walking along or attempting to cross the lanes of I-35E at Mockingbird. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene of the accident. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 35E runs north and south through Dallas, with the scene of the accident a short distance north of downtown.
Police are still investigating the accident.
