On or about Tuesday, June 22nd, 2022, around 3:15 in the morning, a major accident between a motorcycle, a tractor-trailer, a pickup truck towing a boat, and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Troopers from the FHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 4 in Deltona, Florida.
Representatives from the Florida Highway Patrol said an as-of-yet unidentified 22-year-old was killed when the motorcycle they were on, a tractor-trailer, a passenger vehicle, and a pickup truck towing a boat collided in a chain-reaction accident along I-4. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Saxon Boulevard.
Police are still investigating.
