On or about Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, around 8:00 in the morning, a major single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident left one individual dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 40 in Oldham County, Texas.
Officials from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the tractor-trailer they were driving allegedly rolled along I-40 during high-wind conditions. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the tractor-trailer dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the crash is about seven miles east of Adrian.
Texas DPS and local agencies responded to the scene to assist after the incident.
