On or about Friday, November 26th, 2021, around 4:20 in the afternoon, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Troopers from the NMHP said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 40 near the exchange with Unser Boulevard in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Representatives from the Albuquerque Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified conditions on westbound I-40 near Unser Boulevard. Emergency responders pronounced one person in the passenger vehicle dead of their injuries a short time after the collision. Officials indicated the passenger vehicle was pinned beneath the tractor-trailer at the scene.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 40 and Unser Boulevard is situated on the northwest side of Albuquerque.
