On or about Thursday, April 15th, 2021, around 11:35 in the morning, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident left one man dead. Department of Public Safety Officials said the accident happened on Interstate 45 at the Langdon Road overpass in Hutchins, Texas.
Officials said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly veered out of the lanes of traffic and slammed into the Langdon Road bridge overpass. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the tractor-trailer dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their preliminary statement.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 12 miles south of downtown Dallas.
Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers assisted at the scene of the crash.
