Details:
On or about Thursday, February 24th, 2022, around 6:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Representatives from the CHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 5 in Los Banos, California.
Authorities from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly struck the back of a parked tractor-trailer on I-5. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the vehicle dead of their injuries at the scene.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 5 cuts north and south through Los Banos.
