On or about Tuesday, February 15th, 2022, around 3:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a work truck left one individual dead. Troopers from the WSP said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 5 in Pierce County, Washington.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer and a work truck collided under unspecified circumstances. Emergency responders pronounced one individual dead of their injuries after the accident, but it is not immediately clear if they died at the scene or after being rushed to a nearby hospital. Officials did not specify which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the accidnet.
