Details:
On or about Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, a serious accident between a motorcycle, a car, and a tractor-trailer left one person dead. Investigators from the CHP said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 5 near the exchange with Arena Boulevard in Sacramento, California.
Troopers from the California Highway Patrol said an as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when they were allegedly rear-ened on their motorcycle and thrown into the path of a tractor-trailer along I-5. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the motorcycle dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 5 runs north and south through Sacramento, with the Arena Boulevard exchange located on the north side of town.
Multiple agencies responded to assist at the scene.
