Details:
On or about Monday, December 20th, 2021, around 3:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left one individua dead. Troopers from the OSHP said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 70 in Columbus, Ohio.
Officers from the CPD said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross Interstate 70. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident. Authorities did not mention any other vehicles in their initial statement on the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated on the east side of Columbus.
Police are still investigating.
