On or about Wednesday, April 14th, 2021, an accident with a tractor-trailer left at least one person dead. Troopers from the Highway Patrol said the accident was reported on the southbound side of Interstate 75 in Lake City, Florida.
Officials from the FHP said at least one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer crashed under unspecified conditions. Police did not specify if any other vehicles or injuries were reported following the crash.
Interstate 75 runs north and south through the center of Lake City, which is about 61 miles west of Jacksonville, according to Google Maps.
Police are still examining the cause of the accident.
