On or about Friday, April 8th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Representatives from the FHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 75 in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Spokespeople from the FHP said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer as they were attempting to cross or walking alongside I-75. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead a short time after they responded to the scene of the incident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the incident is a short distance from Miami Gardens Drive.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
