On or about Friday, March 11th, 2022, around 1:00 in the morning, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported along Interstate 80/94 in Lake County, Indiana.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly collided with a passenger vehicle that had spun out in the roadway. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the passenger vehicle dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unhurt in the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 80/94 cuts east and west through Lake County.
