Details:
On or about Monday, April 5th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Representatives from the UHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 80 just outside Wendover in Tooele County, Utah.
Officials from the Utah Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into a disabled passenger vehicle along I-80. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a about 5 miles away from the Nevada border.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
