Details:
On or about Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, around 4:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and another semi truck left one person dead. Troopers from the PSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 81 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
Deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the tractor-trailer they were driving allegedly hit a tractor-trailer that was illegally parked along Interstate 81. Emergency responders pronounced one of the truck drivers dead of their injuries following the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is near mile marker 64.5.
Authorities are still investigating the crash.
