Details:
On or about Thursday, March 4th, 2021, around 3:30 in the afternoon, an accident between an 18-wheeler and an SUV left one person dead. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along Interstate 88 in Naperville Road in Naperville, Illinois.
Investigators said a tractor-trailer allegedly collided with an SUV and at least one other vehicle, and that a passenger in the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Two other individuals were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is located on the far west side of the greater Chicago area.
Illinois State Police and local law enforcement are investigating.
