On or about Thursday, April 28th, 2022, around 4:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a passenger vehicle and two tractor-trailers left one person dead. Representatives from the MSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 94 in Albion Township, Michigan.
Spokespeople from the Michigan State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the passenger vehicle they were in was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer. After the initial collision with the car, the tractor-trailer allegedly hit another nearby 18-wheeler. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 94 winds east and west through Albion Township.
Police are still examining the cause of the accident.
