Details:
On or about Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, around 6:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Spokespeople from the MSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 94 in Ypsilanti Township, Michigan.
Officials from the Michigan State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer while they were on the shoulder of I-94. Paramedics pronounced the person in the passenger vehicle dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 94 cuts east and west into Ypsilanti Township.
Officials are still trying to pin down exactly what happened in the accident.
