Details:
On or about Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, around 6:30 in the morning, a major accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Authorities from the GSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 95 just outside Brunswick, Georgia.
Officials from the Georgia State Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified pedestrian was killed when they were allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer while they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of I-95. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles or injuries in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 95 runs north and south through the area, which is about 270 miles southeast of downtown Atlanta.
