Details:
On or about Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021, a major single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident left one individual dead. Troopers from the SCHP said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 95 in Colleton County, South Carolina.
Deputies from the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the tractor-trailer they were driving allegedly veered off the side of Interstate 95 and crashed. Paramedics pronounced one person in the tracto-trailer dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 95 runs north and south through the center of Colleton County, with the scene of the accident located not far from Walterboro.
Police are still investigating.
