Details:
On or about Friday, April 29th, 2022, around 1:30 in the morning, a serious accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Troopers from the VSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 95 in Richmond, Virginia.
Law enforcement spokespeople from the Virginia State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer when they may have walked into the lanes of traffic following a previous accident. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries at the scene of the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Interstate 64.
Police are still trying to determine exactly what happened in the incident.
