On or about Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, an accident between an SUV and two tractor-trailers left one woman dead. Representatives from the CHP said the accident was reported along Avenal Cutoff Road in Kings County, California.
Troopers from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck her SUV as she was attempting a turn. After the initial collision with the tractor-trailer, the SUV was pushed into another 18-wheeler nearby. Emergency responders pronounced the woman in the SUV dead of her injuries after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from the intersection with 25th Avenue.
