On or about Friday, September 3rd, 2021, around 5:40 in the morning, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at the intersection of Toepperwein Road and Loma Azul Street in San Antonio, Texas.
Authorities from the SAPD said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck their car while turning out of a car auction house parking lot near the intersection of Loma Azul Street and Toepperwin Road. Paramedics cut the driver out of the car, but they succumbed to their injuries while on the way to the hospital. Police did not mention any other injuries in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Toepperwein Road and Loma Azul Street is situated on the northeast side of San Antonio.
