On or about Thursday, January 13th, 2022, around 1:15 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at the intersection of West Loop 1604 and Farm-to-Market Road 143 in San Antonio, Texas.
Officers from the SAPD said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in and a tractor-trailer collided along West Loop 1604 near FM 143. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the passenger vehicle dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unhurt in the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of West Loop 1604 and FM 143 is on the west side of San Antonio.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
