Details:
On or about Wednesday, November 11th, 2020, around 2:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left one person dead. Department of Public Safety Troopers said the accident happened on Loop 390 at Scottsville Highway in Marshall, Texas.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when their pickup truck was hit by a tractor-trailer when the pickup was attempting to turn onto Loop 390. Paramedics pronounced one person dead at the scene of the accident. No other were mentioned in the preliminary police statement.
Google Streetview shows Loop 390 is four lanes that run north and south at the intersection, whereas Scottsville Highway runs east and west with two lanes. The intersection is governed by a stoplight. Marshall is located about 151 miles east of Dallas.
Texas DPS is assisting in the accident investigation.
