Details:
On or about Monday, March 7th, 2022, around 4:00 in the morning, a major accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left one person dead. Representatives from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Southwest Loop 410 at or near the exchange with Old Pearsall Road in San Antonio, Texas
Law enforcement spokespeople from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the SUV they were in allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer along SW Loop 410. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the SUV dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. Authorities did not mention any other injuries stemming from the collision.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of SW Loop 410 and Old Pearsall Road is on the southwest side of San Antonio.
Authorities are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
