Details:
On or about Wednesday, February 9th, 2022, around 3:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Deputies from the Grafton County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Main Street in Littleton, New Hampshire.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly struck by a passing tractor-trailer as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic on Main Street. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries at the scene of the accient.
According to Google Maps, Main Street runs through the center of Littleton, which is roughly 85 miles north of Concord.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
