Details:
On or about Thursday, October 14th, 2021, around 3:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left one individual dead. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Mount Whitney Avenue and Cedar Avenue in Fresno County, California.
Law enforcement representatives said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a car allegedly struck a tractor-trailer that was passing through the intersection of Mount Whitney Avenue and Cedar Avenue. The driver of the car was ejected from the vehicle and was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries. Police did not mention any other injuries in their initial statement on the accidnet.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Riverdale, which is about 35 miles south of Fresno.
Police are still investigating.
