On or about Wednesday, April 14th, 2021, around 2:40 in the afternoon, an accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Police said the accident was reported at Newstream Enterprises on East Laraway Road in Joilet, Illinois.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified man was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly backed over him at Newstream Enterprises. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead from “significant injuries” at the scene of the accident. No other injuries were mentioned by officials in their initial report.
