Details:
On or about Monday, February 8th, 2021, around 4:55 in the morning, an accident between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer left a 25-year-old Vernon man dead. Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened at the intersection of State Road 79 and State Road 20 in Ebro, Florida.
Troopers from the FHP said a tractor-trailer allegedly turned onto northbound State Road 79 and struck a southbound motorcycle. Paramedics pronounced the as-of-yet unidentified motorcyclist dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. Officials said the victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Ebro is located in Washington County, about 115 miles west of Tallahassee, according to Google Maps.
State Troopers are investigating the accident.
