Details:
On or about Tuesday, February 8th, 2022, a serious accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Authorities from the VSP said the accident was reported along Route 22A in Orwell, Vermont.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the passenger vehicle he was in allegedly failed to yield at an intersection on Route 22A. Emergency responders rushed the driver of the car to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival. The driver of the tractor-trailer was treated for minor injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Route 22A winds north and south through Orwell.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
