On or about Wednesday, November 18th, 2020, a head-on collision between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left one person dead. Police said the accident happened along Route 250 in Huttonsville, West Virginia.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler collided head-on under unknown circumstances. First responders pronounced the driver of the pickup truck dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the 18-wheeler did not report injuries.
Route 250 runs north and south with two lanes according to Google Streetview. The roadway cuts through a rural area, with grassy land on either side of the pavement. Huttonsville sits about 155 miles northeast of Charleston.
