On or about Friday, February 18th, 2022, around 11:23 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck left one individual dead. Officials from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the Sam Houston Tollway at or near the intersection with Market Street in Houston, Texas.
Investigators from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the pickup truck they were in allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer on the Sam Houston Tollway. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the pickup truck dead of their injuries at the scene of the collision.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of the Sam Houston Tollway and Market Street is on the east side of Houston.
