Details:
On or about Saturday, October 16th, 2021, around 11:50 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a Ford Fusion left one individual dead. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 10300 block of Southeast Loop 410 in San Antonio, Texas.
Authorities from the SAPD said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the Ford Fusion they were driving was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer that had merged onto the roadway from the shoulder of Loop 410. After the initial collision, the car burst into flames. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the car dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident. Police did not report any other injuries in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated on the south side of San Antonio.
