On or about Sunday, February 20th, 2022, around 3:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Spokespeople from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the Ship Channel Bridge on 610 East Loop in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a passenger vehicle allegedly slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer along 610 East Loop. Emergency responders pronounced one individual dead of their injuries after the accident. Authorities did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the Ship Channel Bridge is on the southeast side of Houston.
Police are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
